We hiked the Narrows in late July and that water was so cold I lost feeling in my feet. I can't imagine how it must have felt in November! I still consider the 3- mile hike up the Narrows as one of my top 3 best hikes ever! When the kids get a little older try to go back in July and go back farther into the canyon, you (and they) will never forget it.

Creek, a crick is what you get in your neck. Looks like a nice day. Missing the warm weather and hiking. We are back in the Pacific Northwest this winter. Even though it's a mild winter for here, it's still cold for me.

Congratulations on your junior ranger badge Goose! πŸ˜„ That's pretty exciting. Hiking all those trails would have been great experience for her. There were plenty of animals and greenery to investigate.

PS- I'm good for January 31st being our Hangout night.
