Zion National Park Accommodations, Hotels, Vacation Rentals & Lodging

Zion National Park has got to be one of my favorite places I’ve ever been. The landscapes are so magnificent and inspiring. This was actually my 4th time in Zion. Friday, November 15th, 2019.

Because I’ve already done a handful of big name hikes here (Angels Landing, The Narrows, Observation Point, Emerald Pools, etc.) I decided to simply explore whatever looked interesting. While in the East side of the park, I pulled up AllTrails to see what was nearby, but there was little to no service. I decided to simply pick a pull-off with a trailhead and go.

I headed down a trail that led me through the tunnel you see. The trail appeared to be a dry creek-bed/wash and I just followed it for some time. As I got further in, it was less obvious which way to go, so I simply followed the path of least resistance up slick rock to try and reach the top of a nearby peak.

Being that I wasn’t really on much of a trail for the latter half of the hike, I made sure to stick to slick rock and did not damage any of the awesome nature. I had a blast trying to climb my way up safely and reach the top for a worthwhile 360-degree view! What a special place. Couldn’t be more thankful for my experiences here!

The song is one of my favorites, “Marchin’ On” – By One Republic. I purchased their song on iTunes to use for the video.
