Zion National Park Accommodations, Hotels, Vacation Rentals & Lodging

I recently took a trip down to Utah’s Washington County to get a large variety of birds found nowhere else in the state. On the way down I saw Endangered Utah Prairie dogs at a truck stop. I first went to Zion Canyon, to try and see Spotted Owls and California Condors, but did see canyon wrens, dippers, and kinglets. I also filmed the zion snail with a macro lense, so you can actually see the tiny creature move. The next day I went to Lytle Ranch, and saw many southwest desert birds, like Phainopepla and cactus wrens. I then went to the Tonaquint Nature Center to see Mute Swans and Abert’s Towhees. It was a fun birding trip and I saw a lot of species.
