This is Part 2 of my camping trip to Zion National Park where we camped in the south campground that is only about 300 yards from the visitors center inside of the park.

Hi Earl, for this trip we reserved the campsite about 1 week prior to arriving and the camp was about 80% booked. The only reason why we were able to get a campsite with such a short reservation though was because it was the off season. The high was about 50 degrees during the day and about 30 at night. When the weather is this cold it’s a little easier to get a site, but during the on season (spring and summer) you probably need to reserve a sight 2-3 months prior. I hope this helps. And thanks for the idea for a future video on how to prepare for camping at a place you have never gone to. It’s coming. ✌️

Hey, there, buddy! You mentioned reserving a campsite ahead of time for your Zion trip helped you guys get a good spot. How far ahead did you make the reservation? Also, may we please see a video on tips for good "adventure outline" planning? For example, what're some good things to plan for for a place you've never been to or for an activity you've never done. Thanks in advance!
