Zion National Park Accommodations, Hotels, Vacation Rentals & Lodging

This was a long time coming and what a hoot of a canyon, Echo Canyon is a true delight. Finally getting to do this canyon in mid October we were in for a somewhat chilly ride. The prior two weeks and seen some good rain storms so the canyon had plenty of water and we had no problem with the one problem pothole, which we didn’t even notice. Four short rappels and a whole bunch of swimming through almost subterranean slot at times made an awesome canyoneering experience! Echo Canyon is up on the favorite list! Another great video D-Rock. Good to see Jen along side ya. Looked like a great canyon. I was started to get winded there at the end just imagining the swimming. I hate the canyons where you think you are done and then all of a sudden you have a couple more swims and you are already winded, but you gotta suck it up and jump into the cold water again and get through it. Takes me out every time. I was getting PTSD setting in for those occasions watching the end. Good stuff 🙂

hey great video & nice work. I remember when I did Echo a couple years back & that pothole was unknown to everyone. When I reported that Middle Echo had a keeper pothole people didn't believe me lol. Its awesome & crazy how canyons are always changing so you never know what your going to get.
