Zion National Park Accommodations, Hotels, Vacation Rentals & Lodging

Scored the last minute lottery for Mystery Canyon, so we make a day of it in late August. This trip took our group of four a little over twelve hours to complete and we did the Weeping Rock approach. Dropping into the canyon took some time negotiating the ‘Death Gulley’, aptly named due to being very steep and loose….much caution exercised here. Smooth sailing from that point on. Getting on anchor for the rappel into Mystery Spring was a little daunting due to its slopey exposure but there is a rope to safety tether on to. Final rappel into the Narrows was one cool exit! Thanks for watching.
