Zion National Park Accommodations, Hotels, Vacation Rentals & Lodging

This is the third video in the series documenting my Winter 2019 photography trip to Death Valley and Zion National Parks. In this episode I visit Zabriskie Point at sunrise, Badwater at sunset and other interesting locations in between. I also discuss some of the effects on the park of the partial government shutdown that occurred during the trip.

You may have figured out by now, I'm catching up on all your videos now that I've found the channel. I'm doing them in reverse order. I noticed several comments on some of them from Diego McArtney. I subscribe to his as well. He actually gave me some advice on my Utah trip back when I was first planning it. On the Badwater salt flats question, I really liked the cooler blue image but after looking at both several times, I settled on the warmer version as my favorite.

I like the blue by just a hair better, but I think seeing them mounted on white mat board would determine the final choice. I've been to DV once, and Badwater was inaccessible due to flood damage of the road and that's also when Scotty's Castle area was damaged so I didn't see some areas I wanted to get to. I did get some very nice reflections of the sky and clouds on the valley floor from Dante's View due to standing flood water. Looking forward to your next installment.
