Zion National Park Accommodations, Hotels, Vacation Rentals & Lodging

Thanks for watching!

Free BLM camping near Zion National Park. There is a porta-potty there, that is extremely clean by the way, that a guy rents out and asks for donations to help keep up with it.
There is a free dump station as well in the city of La Verkin at the Maverick Gas Station before you get on SR-9 going towards Zion National Park. Although the dump station is free, it’s locked and they key is exchanged for your ID in the gas station.

Thanks for this informative video. I also enjoyed the bike ride…felt like I was there! 🙂 I am doing a solo trip through that area around June 14th. Your info provided me with additional information I can use for camping options. I would like some more details on the man a little further down the road that charges a fee…what does he offer?

In October, my wife and I will be doing a three weeks trip through lower UT and then up to the Teton's and Yellowstone. Hopefully I will be able to use this camp area then as well.

We ride in a slightly modified Subaru Outback pulling a tiny Bunkhouse camper (like the motorcycles pull). We drag it through some pretty rough stuff from time to time! 🙂

Anyway…thanks for the info and I have subscribed to your channel.

Ken and I are based in Havasu but haven’t checked out Zion yet, just drove through a few years ago. Good to know about boondocking options!

If you get a chance, check out our small channel, Life with Ken and Jane. All our vids are on a playlist on my personal account. Have to go to work now but I will come check out the rest if your content this weekend😃

We stayed one night off Sheep Ridge road last April because we pulled into Zion and there were no spots . We camped in Zion the next day . Sure wish I would have known about your spot . Will file it away . Thanks

This looks great! I'm trying to plan a trip to Zion for later this month but it looks like all the reservable sites are booked! This definitely looks like a solid option, especially for free, since all I'm really looking for is a place to sleep at night
