Heaps is one of the quintessential canyons to go canyoneering in, offering some of the most challenging and yet rewarding obstacles you can find anywhere. Zion National Park offers some incredible canyons to rappel down, and Heaps is one of the hardest. The final rappel is down a 500 ft face into Emerald Pools and requires three stages to complete. The final hanging rappel is app 280 ft.

    Have any of you done Heaps Canyon in Zion? It's one of two of the most technical canyons in Zion. But as you'll see from this video is an incredible journey that kicks you out at Emerald Pools.
