Zion National Park Accommodations, Hotels, Vacation Rentals & Lodging
In the state of Utah, inside Zion National Park, there is a hiking trail called Angels Landing. It is one of the most famous and thrilling hikes in the park which provides a spectacular view of Zion Canyon. At its highest peak of 5,790 feet (1,765 meters), the trail begins at the Grotto drop off point. There will be several individuals there joining your hiking adventure depending on the day and time you go. Although this is an amazing experience, let it be known since 2004, 6 individuals have died falling from the cliff. On this day (December, 2016), I explored this massive mountain in the snow.

Insane. I am impressed
Approximately what week of the year does Angels Landing get its first snow? I'm interested in doing this hike in the winter, before the first snow. Advice from hikers with experience on this trail is appreciated. I want to be prepared with experienced guidance/advice.
Amazing footage (although scary) but the music spoils it for me. Why not the natural sounds of life…it would be more bearable to watch.
That little Asian dude left your ass. He said peace out
It's very dangerous in snow not easy that people knows how they manage their selves in snow.Too much dangerous oh God save them ameen.
U have to be stupid to walk that trail with snow and ice.
Just hiked it 3 days ago. Wouldn't even attempt it in snow.
Good on you and your family for wearing spikes…but that other dude who you had to keep on helping…you really were his guardian Angel!
Can't even believe the park let Darwinism nearly work you. Why would you EVER even want to do this in these conditions without proper gear. YOU ARE DUMB LUCKY!
Very irresponsible to not be wearing yaktrax or microspikes and taking kids on snow and ice. A good example of bad parenting.
I turned around after the first 50 ft of the hike when I went. Too icey and too many people. Felt the slightest slip of my foot on some ice and I couldnt bring myself to go any further.
You guys raised the bar so high for INSANITY. But congrats for making it to the bottom safely.
Unnecessary and vain
I guess all made it 😂very dangerous decent yes ..any crampons ?? I need a drink after this hike.
This is a battle hike going down i drink a 🍺 after this.😂
The park Rangers need to close the trail under these conditions……to protect people from themselves……they close the roads
so dumb
Many good things in life require a challenge and an element of danger but this is basically beyond common sense and sanity. I can see climbing Angels Landing in the winter with snow BUT only if you use common sense and are prepared with the correct gear AND people who understand what they are doing!! Kind of lucky they didn't have to change the sign with additional deaths after this stunt!
Darwinism in action – these folks had no business up there in those conditions
Rangers let you do this in winter.crampons anybody ? Ice ax might help 😊death defaying hike a real rush .
I just now saw this video and oh my goodness !!!! My heart is pounding and my whole body is cringing just by watching you guys climbing Angel's Landing in a snowy weather !!! You truly are a risk-taker-kind-of-a- man. What a suspenseful sight/video this is. Yes, the snow makes it more VIEWtiful but more dangerous as well. I admire you all to have that courage and bravery to explore this majestic place during this kind of weather.
I going to do some training for this hike climb .
Beauiful dangerous in winter.if you fall its the end .💀⛪💒😳
I would do this in summer for sure .
Coming down is the most dangerous. Live long.
Crazy unprepared people
“Kind of sketchy” is an understatement. Suicidal is more appropriate. I hope you people don’t have small children waiting for you at home.
“Careful, it’s icy…it’s OK.”
VERY unwise – no climbing gear AT ALL
Hi, I just came across your channel and subscribed! You took some awesome video! What ever happened to the kid in front of you? All of a sudden I didn't see him in the rest of the hike. What camera are you using?
Maybe Darwin was on to something?
It's an easy hike and man I wish there was snow when I was there last week.
Nope
