Zion National Park Accommodations, Hotels, Vacation Rentals & Lodging

In today’s video, we head into Zion to hike the Narrows. We didn’t expect it to still be this crowded on a Thursday in October though! So we didn’t have quite as much time to hike as we thought and didn’t make it all the way to Wall St. Next time! Even so, this is one of our favorite hikes off time!

Read somewhere recently that all National Parks are filled more than ever, but that Zion is particularly crowded this year. They are thinking of limiting people from entering… by ticket or something to control the crowds…

Great video of hiking Narrows! We visited earl March (just after snow melt) and stayed at private full-hook up campground within walking distance of NP entrance gate. The full hook ups were needed as temps rose to 85-90° by mid-day and we only felt comfortable leaving our pup with air conditioner running. The campground was certainly not as picturesque as your spot but the amenities made our visit spectacular! We could just walk up the gravel driveway from the campground to catch NP shuttle ( eliminating the parking hassle). Walk to downtown Springdale for happy hour, great cafes, groceries, shopping too. We extended our stay to include the town St. Patrick's day parade which was a hoot! Unfortunately early spring means offer water too dangerous for Narrows hike but we nailed many others including Angels Landing!
