Zion National Park Accommodations, Hotels, Vacation Rentals & Lodging

Here is a scenic look at the Observation Point trail in Zion National Park. The trailhead begins at the Weeping Rock stop in Zion Canyon. Instead of going left to the weeping rock you take the right trail and move up the switchbacks. After a few switchbacks, there is a fork on the trail. If you go right it leads to Hidden Canyon, another great hike, but for Observation Point you keep left at the fork and the rest of the way meanders up on top of a plateau where you can see the magnificent views looking down on Zion Canyon. The trail is 8 miles round trip and is a long steep climb that takes about 5 hours round trip on average to complete.
