Zion National Park Accommodations, Hotels, Vacation Rentals & Lodging

After an overview of the Valley on my first day, I decide to hike Upper Yosemite Falls, and Yosemite Point. Definitely one of my top 10 destinations in the USA.

Be careful hiking alone. Not recommended anymore. I watched a lady slip on some rocks while vlogging at Rainier last summer. We were the only people nearby and with the cliff so close, she could’ve fallen.

    Awesome video!
As a campground host along Tioga Pass, I get suggestions about hikes within Yosemite. I reply with "do want photos or a workout?" I inform them that Yosemite Falls trail is "Leg Day"…as in, you want ALL muscles in your legs to receive a strenuous workout? That's the trail to do it. Hiking Half Dome wasn't as strenuous, but both are great for photos.

I have to be honest, I thought you'd chicken out to the top of Yosemite falls. Not only did you make it, but you went beyond to Yosemite point!
You've got some real willpower, especially after enduring afternoon crowds right in the middle of summer!
    Excellent video! Thanks for sharing!

Great coverage and explanation of the illegal name changes the park had to go through; saw your $17 hamburger order, yeap, $15 hamburger and $2 soft drink. I have been to Yosemite 107 times and noticed, even though you posted this video 3 days ago, your video was actually taken 6 months ago during Summer. I have been up to Half Dome 3 times when they had no lottery and other falls; twice during the day and once during the night with no light, nor moonlight, just a faint and out of battery flashlight and used a camera preview screen when that died!
The park is like an amusement park now with many so people getting injure doing crazy stuff.

Thanks Robert for another great video. We visited Yosemite in April 2019, just months before your visit. You showed us Tioga Pass which was not open when we were there and we didn't do any trails. Once again, you "filled in the blanks" for us. Much appreciated.

Sooooooooooo great!!! I've hiked so many trails in Yosemite, but not the Yosemite Falls trail, so this was fantastic to see. So glad you took that extra mile. I'm also glad to see that you are going to explore Tuolumne Meadows – so many incredibly beautiful places/hikes there. I loved all the waterfall shots, so perfectly framed. 🤗 P. S. It's pronounced "Too-awl-um-knee". P. P. S. You're lucky it was such a heavy snow year – usually, upper Yosemite Falls is dry by that time of year.

Enjoy your video a lot I've been wanting to go to Yosemite but I do not like crowds whatsoever part of getting away is getting away from people I heard Moana on the opposite side of Yosemite is supposed to be a great place for camping and Hiking also

Look's like you made it up not long after Tioga opened (by looking at the remaining snow). There are some great camping spots just inside the west side of the pass that is run by the Forest Service since they are just outside the park.
I've done some videos via a drone of the pass area. Looking at the pass from the air gives it a whole new perspective.

As a northern California resident we've never seen " a slow time" as so many buses and visitors come by during peak spring/summer months. The only slow time is the winter where many sites can be closed off due to snow or rain. Most of the tourist buses just drop off people for a few pictures at the falls and move on the to next site. They don't climb up the trails so its much less crowded up there.

Yosemite is one of my favorite places minus the crowds. Have done many hikes there but never the Yosemite falls trail…it was just beautiful. Tuolumne meadows has some great trails too with more waterfalls. Great video, looking forward to Lake Tahoe😁
