This area of the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, has become a favorite for our guides. The mixture of colors and the variety of rock formations have also become a favorite of the photographers on our tours. This tour does have some areas that require 4 wheel drive due to deep sand. Even though we are in really comfortable vehicles, the road can be a little rough especially after storms. The ride out is always an adventure in itself.
Then you get there, and feel like you have landed on another planet. The texture and colors and all types of geological wonders make this area a place that you will always remember, and a favorite of most of our guests!
We can take groups of up to 7 people, and are in no hurry to escape back to Kanab from this wonderful location. We can go at your pace and do what you would like while showing you the greatest areas for photos. Overnight camping is also available. Contact us for more information.
This tour usually take about 4 ½ to 5 hours of total driving time, and the area can be hiked in 2 to 4 hours depending on how comfortable you feel, and how safe we are especially during hot summer months, and during rain storms. This is overall a very Easy hike for anyone able to walk over uneven rocks and small sections of sand.
There are no day permits required in the White Pocket area at this time.
Camping permits are with the guide.
